The Australian Pelican,
are found near fresh and saltwater lakes, swamps and by the
sea.
They often feed together, swimming in flocks, all
dipping their huge bills in the water at the same time to scoop up
fish. They also feed alone on freshwater crayfish, shrimps and
frogs.
Both the male and female build a platform nest of
sticks and help to rear the young
